New players welcome!
Players can expect
- a Chess'n Math rated tournament
- at least five games
- to play in a section based on their ratings or playing strength
- time control is 30 minutes per player
- grade 4 and above will use chess clocks
- a chance to play in a simultaneous exhibition against National Master Keith McKinnon (up to 30 boards over lunch)
- to win a prize if you beat Keith in the simultaneous exhibition
- on site registration begins at 9:45 AM
- lunch break and simultaneous exhibition 12:15 to 1:30
- tournament ends around 4:00 PM
