Bughouse Tournament - May 11th 2012

Bughouse is fast, furious and a whole lot of fun.

If you play chess and would like to add a little excitement to your game – grab yourself a partner and come to Science Rendezvous to play some bughouse with us!

No cost and there will be Prizes.

Tournament will be run during Science Rendezvous on May 11^th.

That’s right – we will have an audience!
We will be located in the hallway of the classroom building.

·      open tournament – no registration fee

·      kids from 4 – 90 are welcome

·      register as a team or a single player (we will find you a partner)

·      your team will play 4  - 8 games

·      besides regular chess rules, there are a few special rules – check out our website for more info (chesssask.blogspot.ca)

·      please bring a chess clock if you can – we have a few but not enough for all

·      game time is 5 minutes per player

·      tournament check-in and warm up starts at 11 am

·      tournament starts at 12 pm

·      If possible please pre-register using this form by 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10^th .

Provincial Tournament Postponed

If you were coming to the Provincial Tournament tomorrow (April 6th) we have rescheduled due to road conditions. The tournament will be held in the same place and time, but on April 13th.
