• open to all players from Kindergarten through grade 12
• new players welcome
• you will play 5 - 6 games
• chess tournament rules apply (touch move)
• chess clocks used in upper grades (generally grade 5/6 and up)
• game time is 30 minutes per player
• tournament check-in and fee payment starts at 9:45 a.m.
• tournament starts at 10:15 a.m. sharp (ends around 3:30 p.m.)
• cost is $10 plus a $5 SSCA membership (payable at the door)
• ribbons will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each group (number of groups will depend on number of participants)
