- new players welcome
- 5 rounds minimum
- chess tournament rules apply (touch move)
- chess clocks used in upper grades (generally grade 5/6 and up)
- game time is 30 minutes per player
- tournament check-in and fee payment starts at 9:45 a.m.
- tournament starts at 10:30 a.m. (ends around 3:30 p.m.)
- cost is $15 plus a $5 SSCA membership (payable at the door)
- number of sections will depend on number of participants
