Want to boost brain power?

Explore the world of chess through our coaching workshop, "Chess for beginners", designed specifically for children with basic understanding of chess.

This program brings opportunity to learn chess tactics from an international rated player Pramod Dahale from Saskatchewan Scholastic Chess association. 

Prerequisite for this workshop: Basic understanding of chess (includes – chess pieces movements, initial chess board setup, and chess goal to capture King)  


Registration required at: Central Children Library website
Ideal age group: 7 to 14 
Location: Public Meeting Room 1, Central Branch, 2311 12th Avenue, Regina
Days: 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th Sep
Time: 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Facilities: Meeting Room, Projector, Chairs, Tables would be facilitated by Regina Public Library.
