This tournament is open to all Saskatchewan players from Kindergarten through grade 12, and New Players are welcome to participate. Please feel free to forward this email to your friends who might be interested to join.
Schedule:
09:30 am – Meet in the front door of Engineering Building
10:30 am – Round 1 Starts
12:15 - 1:00 pm -- Lunch Break (May be different according to the game duration)
1:00 pm -- Afternoon Session starts
Time Control:
G/30: Each Player has 30 minutes to make all his/her moves.
Sections:
•Number of sections will depend on the number of participants
•Sections will be defined by consideration of grades and CMA ratings.
•5 rounds minimum for each section.
Tournament Details:
•Chess tournament rules apply (touch move)
•Chess clocks used in upper grades (generally grade 4/5 and up)
Registration Fee: (payable at the door)
•On-line registration is $15 + $5 SSCA membership
•Onsite Registration is $20 + $5 SSCA membership
