Open to all players from Kindergarten through grade 12. The payer with 2.5 points or more in each age group or top 3 players (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18) will be qualified for the 2023 Canadian Youth Chess Championship (July, 2023 / Calgary).   As a benefit for young players, CFC will give free membership to the players of this tournament. 

  • new players are welcome
  • you will play 5 - 7 games
  • chess tournament rules apply
  • chess clocks used in upper grades (generally grade 5/6 and up)
  • game time is 30 minutes per player
  • tournament check-in and fee payment start at 10:00 a.m.
  • tournament starts at 10:30 (ends around 4:00 p.m.)

  • Payment:
  • On-line registration is $15 + $5 SSCA membership  (Preferred)
  • Onsite Registration is $20 + $5 SSCA membership  (Payable at the door)
  • E-transfer the registration fee to the SSCA treasurer (Tony)'s email:  adepadua@sasktel.net
  • Please indicate in the description of the transfer below:
