SSCA is hosting the Provincial Chess Championship on April.2nd 2023 (Sunday). The first place player in each grade at Provincials will be invited to the Team Saskatchewan for the Canadian Chess Challenge, which will be held in Montreal, QC, over the May long weekend, May 20 to 22, 2023. Players must have played in one of the below qualifiers to get the invitation to participate in the provincial championship.

09:30am Check in / Onsite Registration & Fee payment)

11:30am Round 2
12:30am Lunch Break for Players
SSCA Annual Meeing (All parents are invited)
1:30pm Round 3
2:30pm Round 4
3:30pm Round 5
4:30pm Round 6 (Some grade might have 6 rounds)

Format & Time Control:
Round Robin in each Section (By grade)
5~7 Rounds depends on the number of the players in the section
25+5: Each Player has 25 minutes with 5 seconds increment after each move
Registration Fee:
•On-line registration is $15
•Onsite Registration is $20 (Payable at the door)
