Saskatchewan Provincial Chess Challenge is scheduled on Sunday, March 30, 2025. We require all players must play in one of the regionals to get familiar with the process, time control, rules, etc. Students must play in a regional tournament to qualify to participate in the Provincial Chess Challenge.

Meanwhile, according to the requirement from the Chess Federation of Canada, any players who would like to attend 2025 Canadian Youth Chess Championship (July 8-11, 2025, Surrey, BC) need to be qualified before application. So, players who gain 2.5 points in each age group (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18) will be qualified for CYCC. As a benefit for young players, CFC will give free membership to the players of this tournament.
