• 5 rounds minimum 
• chess tournament rules apply (touch move)
• chess clocks used in upper grades (generally grade 5/6 and up)
• game time is 30 minutes per player
• tournament check-in and fee payment starts at 9:30 a.m.
• tournament starts at 10:00 a.m. (ends around 3:00 p.m.)
• please bring a lunch
• cost is $10 plus a $5 SSCA membership (payable at the door)
• sectional format (number of sections will depend on number of participants)
